Too often "family transportation" is synonymous with sacrifice or compromise - practicality rules at the expense of comfort and ride quality. Buick Terraza was built to challenge that assumption. Once you enter Terraza's cabin, you leave those old notions behind – this is a well-crafted and luxurious environment that is exceptionally quiet thanks to an extensive series of QuietTuning™ measures. You'll also be pleased by the responsiveness of the 240 horsepower 3.9L V6 VVT engine – as you will by the control provided by the standard StabiliTrak™ vehicle stability enhancement system and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. It's not only a more advanced premium minivan – it's also a Buick. Terraza.
Many Different Ways Of Achieving Peace Of Mind
Terraza offers the reassurance of the Highest U.S. Government Safety Rating – the Buick Terraza received a 5-Star rating for the driver and front passenger in the frontal crash test. with one year of the Directions & Connections Plan with Turn-by-Turn Navigation also included. And Terraza is backed by Buick's 4 year/80,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty in addition to Terraza's 5 year/160,000 km Powertrain Limited Warranty (whichever comes first).
QuietTuning™ Sounds Very Good Indeed
How does Terraza produce such a quiet ride? By reducing noise at its source, blocking the noise path before it enters the passenger compartment, and using acoustic insulation to absorb noise in the cabin. In fact, no fewer than 28 special acoustic absorbers are strategically positioned throughout the vehicle to help absorb noise.
It's All About Control
When the standard StabiliTrak vehicle stability enhancement system detects a lateral skid, the system automatically helps compensate by either applying pressure to the appropriate front brake, or reducing power, or both, to return the vehicle to its intended driving line. Standard four-wheel disc brakes with ABS further enhance driver control.
